MEYER BLISS is a classic 4-piece rockband formed around vocalist / composer Jelle Klumpenaar. Bluesy, raw edged vocals laid down on soulful grooves, catchy melodies and fuzzed-out riffs. Jelle, new on the scene, talented young singer teamed up with three street-smart rock musicians. Together they have created a debut album containing 10 rocksongs with hooks and melodies that stick. Expect a contemporary sound with a vintage touch.

The debut album RUNNING ON EMPTY was composed, compiled and recorded through the year 2017. Fueled by everyday life, the songs take you on a rollercoaster ride through a variety of emotions, feelings and moods. Recognizable by everyone on the journey through life, one that we all must make.

The band places a high value on self expression and freedom. Determination and self-purpose help us achieve our goals. Furthermore, we believe that listening to music enables us to travel back to those places in our memories we desire the most. It reminds us of the best times of our lives so far. So far, because the best time is yet to come!
